I’ve always loved to write. I have journals in storage boxes that chronicle the stories of my life. The early ones are filled with childhood experiences and contain hilarious explanations of the who’s, what’s and why’s of my life. Oh, I have to laugh when I read back through them…they provide a glimpse back at the Michelle who was.

The later ones…detailing life as a young wife and mom remind me that our lives intersect and intertwine…and that people drift in and out of our stories while they are creating stories of their own. And, of course these are filled with highlights of the truly foundational people who drifted by…then decided to stay around me for the long haul.

Although, I’ve had…and continue to have…a career in the business world, my favorite words to describe myself haven’t really changed that much over the years. Friend, wife, momma, grateful follower of Jesus Christ. And as of 2017, you can add writer and blogger to that list.
